Frequently asked questions
The questions we get about recruitment CRMs.
What is a recruitment CRM?
A recruitment CRM is the software that tracks your commercial relationships: companies, contacts, prospecting, follow-ups and your client portfolio. The ATS tracks candidates and processes. At Marvin, Desk brings both into the same database: a contact who becomes a candidate, or the reverse, keeps a single history.
Is an ATS enough, or do you also need a CRM?
An ATS does not tell you which companies to approach, who to follow up or where an account stands. A recruitment agency, an IT consultancy or a temp staffing agency that sells its services needs both. In Marvin they live in Desk: no double entry, no sync to watch.
Can you approach clients with Marvin, not only candidates?
Yes. LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp sequences serve business development as well as sourcing: you enrol contacts from their list, and from the company list enrolment takes the main contact who has an email address. Quotas are adapted to the LinkedIn account type, and each consultant sees what goes out and stops a sequence in one click.
How do you spot the companies that are hiring?
With Radar, in beta. Every morning it rereads the jobs posted in your sectors and regions, checks them against your CRM, suggests the decision-maker to contact and adds them to a Desk sequence in one click.
Which features of this CRM are in beta?
Radar only. The other features described on this page are available: Desk from the Pro plan, Note and Board in the Suite plan.
Is the CRM included in the licence?
Yes. The CRM is part of Desk, included from the Pro plan, from €129 excl. VAT per user per month billed annually. The AI Copilot and the MCP server are included in all plans. Radar, in beta, is switched on depending on your plan: see the pricing.
Can you migrate the CRM you use today?
Yes. A data engineer audits your database, merges duplicates and migrates companies, contacts and history, without stopping the firm. The migration is free with annual billing.
